I lived in or near (less than 10 miles) Eugene for over 20 years and within 45 miles for another 20 years, and still ride there about once a week. I've found most of the drivers and other riders are courteous, but there is always the few problem "ones". I tend to avoid narrow winding roads with zero shoulders tho
