One of my favorite photos is one my Father took in Ashland, ME, circa 1942. It's a pair of horses pulling a plow, with the sun setting behind them. I get up to the Sandwich, NH fair and love to watch the horses work, pulling and twitching. The teams doing the pulling are just so spirited!
Watching the sun set over his cattle pasture a relative once told me "This why I farm; this is my office." 'Nuff said.
Maine is something else.
