I don't know what they were thinking with that stretch along the LIE service road. There are other substantial hills on the route, but none like this one, which is a deal-breaker if you're thinking about bringing kids or sluggish riders. I hope they re-think and re-route it someday.
glad to hear someone say that...i feel a little better now, i dont feel like such a loser
but like i said after the LIE there is another parking area fully operational ...you cut out a few good hills using that one
