Definitly check out Bootleg Canyon if you stay in NV. It is in Bolder City just north of Vegas.

As for Utah, just pick a place and go. Although I would suggest going to Zion. Lots of trails there including Gooseberry Mesa.

I was also going to suggest taking an extra day or so and heading North of the border but you do not want to ride in the snow.

Here in So.Cal. there is a lot of riding to be had. If you want to check the area out I would say put up a post here My Bike Site, So.Cal. and post it in the Southern Cal Biking forum and not the ride partner forum. You may get some smarta$$ replies but there some realy helpful riders on there.
