rhyno lites are pretty decent. i used them for trials for a while and never had to true them. if you're set on them, get them built up with XT hubs, or something similar in quality.

DT swiss make superior wheel-related products. you probably can't go wrong if it was designed by them for any kind of heavy use. the one thing i don't like about them is their hubs, because i'm really bad at taking them apart and not losing pieces. mostly because the axle hardware is all pressed together, and you have to use quite a bit of force to get it all to come apart. it's pretty hard to do that without a sudden jerk just as it finally gives up, and then springs, spacers, and the stupid little star ratchets go flying everywhere. i can pull forks, shocks, wheels, other hubs, even STI shifters (i have a bag of springs and ratchets to prove it) apart without losing pieces, but every time i have to work on one of those god forsaken hubs....disaster.
