Thanks Shotwellian, I looked at it closer too, and it looks like there's no way across a section of drainage leading to Coyote Creek. I'm gonna ride in that direction anyway just to look. I've actually hiked through a bit of water with my mountain bike shoes and my road bike over my shoulder, so if it looks like I can hike a few feet without sinking into the mud I may go for it. If not, it's not a big deal to circle around over the freeway twice.
