Nice pics, everybody. Cycling in middle-America, and Canada too. There is a Mechanicsville in Virginia, you know, more part of the greater Richmond area now. MC, that's a neat shot with the building and archway lit up in the background.
My only ride yesterday was the usual commute. Light traffic, nice weather. I did some frame and drivetrain cleanup on the Bianchi when I got home. 1000 miles of Waltham to Woburn has been laying down its mark.
Later I managed to mount tires on the clincher wheels for the Masi so I can commute on it again. I decided the reason it was flatting so much was the rear tire had become just a layer of thin rubberized fabric over the tube. So I'm trying a set of Veloflex Masters, 23mm. They claim to have a Kevlar belt. Mounting them took some time and care but I managed to mount both without any pinch flat! They're still holding air this morning.
We'll see how they work out on the road.
