Here's a suggestion to Americans who don't like football: Instead of opening your mouth and removing all doubt of your stupidity, why not keep it shut?
Soccer fans bring the ridicule on themselves when they insist on claiming that "it's the greatest sport in the world."
We've heard it, we've tried watching it, we've grown up playing it, we've carted our kids to games, and we still don't like it. Give it a rest.
