Healdsburg (15 miles or so north of Santa Rosa) has Spoke Folkhttp://www.spokefolk.com/rentals/rates.asp(I don't think they do mtb's) and Wine country bikes for rentals(also don't think anyone around here actually does mtb rentals come to think of it..)

Maybe someone in SF knows of a good deal.
