Female Bicyclist Dead, 1 in Critical Condition After Collision in Canoga Park Area | KTLA 5
This happened a few blocks from me. Freakin' sad!! I feel so bad for the lady's family.
"On scene, Valley Traffic Division police Lt. Warren Jones said two vehicles had collided in the intersection at Shoup Avenue and Sherman Way, then one of the vehicles ran off the roadway and onto the sidewalk, where the cyclist was fatally struck."
This kind of makes me nervous riding my bike to work today. What can be done to prevent accidents like this?
