Saturday afternoon as I was riding over to my GFs house I heard some of the music from the Blue's Brothers but couldn't see where it was coming from. I figured someone was playing on their stereo in one of the homes I was riding by until I saw a car that looked like this coming at me.
That's hysterical! Don't let those cars fool you though, if it's an original State Patrol car with the 440 they could do 0-60 in around 8 seconds and go over 150mph, Considering these cars were very heavy and loaded with the usual police gear, and not very aerodynamic, that's a fast car even by today's cop car standards. However I'm sure with that large speaker on top of the car the top speed isn't that high due to aerodynamic interference issues!
As a side note the newer Chrysler/dodge Charger units which are the fastest of the new crop do 143 mph. These new cars are governed, I wonder what the top speed of a non-governed car would be and if any enforcement agency "illegally" removed it?
