It's all personal prefrence anyway. My bikes better than yours crap is childish. I own a Trek and will not diss any other bike out there besides wally world bikes.

It's all about the frame geometry anyway. Yeah my Trek is a low end 4300 but in a year from now it'll have top of the line parts on it that make it better than any low end Kona, Ironhorse, specialized, etc, etc, etc, but You won't here me call any of them junk. The frame is the foundation of a bike not all the add on's. Most people judge a bike by what it has on it from the show room floor and say, well all Trek hardtails are junk because they don't have Fox forks, XT components, Easton bars, BB7 brakes. But when I show up on the trail with mine and it has all the above I bet their attitude and opinion changes..

I beat the hell out of my Trek 4 times a week, broke a chain, popped a few tires and feel it is a solid bike. Preventetive maintance helps a lot also...
