The Bilenky is a very heavy bicycle, but is the "smoothest" of my rides.

The bike is overbuilt in some ways.

I've already completed five rides over 50 miles and it is the most comfortable with a small load on the racks.

The frame fits just right, the Phil Woods hubs are flawless, the Nitto bars give ample hand positions and the Challenge Strada Biancas simply outperform most of the tires in their price range.

Best of all, I can ride the bike on hard packed gravel, cruddy city streets, country roads etc.

It's up for the challenge. Now I just need that dyno hub to show and we can build up that new front wheel.

The days are already getting shorter and a good lighting system will be mandatory for this new adventurous bicycle.
