Here's the problem.
The OP does not want to buy a bike over 1K because it could get stolen. Therefore, he suggest an $800.00 dollar bike because it's less likely to get stolen over on costing 1K.
However, you average bike criminal does not know the difference betwen a $1,400 dollar bike or one costing $800.00 dollars! Bottom line, unless the bike is a rusting Huffy beach crusier in pink, it has a good chance of being stolen.
Don't forget you still need money for one of these.
