You won't get rid of the smell any time soon, I won't even use engine degreaser in my attached garage because it stinks up the house. Try Simple Green to clean the floor, hopefully the degreaser didn't eat into your flooring. If you must degrease in the house use Simple Green and a good brush and put down a sheet of plastic and some old newspaper to catch the mess. When you're done you just fold up the plastic and put it on the trash can OUTSIDE.
