Cantilever Z link cable lengths?
I know that there are 5 standard lengths for these cables, but how are those lengths measured, and how can I best determine the correct length for my setup? Like, is it from the end of the grey housing to the center of the "button", or is it just the length of the housing? I've just built up new wheels for my bike, but the rims are wider than the originals, so I need a longer link cable to get the appropriate clearance and lever feel.
