Forward Looking Mirror
I ride on my drops almost 100% of the time and I occasionally look down to rest my neck and check my bar end rear view mirror. Just for the fun of it I rigged up an oblong mirror that I mounted on the middle of the handle bar that let’s me look forward. The view is obviously upside down but it does seem to help some. I’m able to spot cars coming at me from the front and sides. It’s not something that a person could ride exclusively with but it does seem to add a little safety for that small amount of time I’m looking down. I’ve only rode with it one time so I’m still not convinced it’s useful. Anyone else ever tried this?
