I have a new iZip E3 Dash that I have put on 380 miles. I am on my 3rd replacement motor with the exact same problems. I also had to upgrade the brakes. Fortunately, the bike shop where I bought the bike has great service, but I don't like having to wait a week for Currie to send parts.
UPDATE: I should update this. I bought my bike from Motostrano ebikes in Redwood City, CA and they convinced Currie to give me a replacement 2015 iZip E3 Dash instead of a 3rd motor. The new bike has better brakes and some other improvements and I have put on 140 miles without any motor problems. I really like the bike and I am just hoping the motor keeps going. There is a 1-year warranty.
