Thanks for all the encouragement. I am fortunate in the fact that my wife loves the tandem. She actually gets more emotional about selling the bike then I do, probably because she is a cycling newbie and does not have any other bikes. (I have two mtb bikes and two road bikes all singles) I am thinking I may try and pick up a burely trailer off of EBay. Would like to go used cause money will be tight starting out.

Few questions about trailering a little tike behind a tandem.

1. Does it really kill your average speed? Wife and I like to go fast. I realize the trailer will be a hill killer!

2. How about traffic and the trailer. Little leary about taking a 6 month old in traffic. Honstly I won't mind but I am afraid the wife might.

3. How long of a ride do you take with the tike in the trailer before they want out?

Any other advice?
