Your route from AR thru AL definitely avoids the hillier areas, and probably the higher traffic you would experience on a more northerly route. I've ridden more of the roads N and S of your route here, so I don't have first hand knowledge. My biggest concern on taking AL10 thru the state is large trucks (logging, etc) on a narrow road w/limited shoulders. I haven't driven much on AL10, and certainly not long distances on it, but that's my first recollection. I'm not even sure how you would check this out except from someone who lives near the route.
