I know, ancient thread,but then so am I. listening to how one might stiffen an old saddle,
I melt & mix beef tallow with beeswax 1 to 1. Apply at about 170 degrees. (to hot, the
leather will scorch, too cool and it will not be absorbed by the leather. Use a hair dryer or
heatgun gently until the mix is fully absorbed top & bottom. Cool it out in the fridge & buff
with soft cloth.(I had to make 2 words 1 since the 3 letter word for a firearm is apparently
censored?)
