the 8 speed bar end shifter got labeled Ultegra , though the quality is no different than the D-A 9.
just the detent spacing is different. left ones are the same .
More speeds is a marketing sucker program .. they cost more wear faster
and you will get there just the same with out so many cogs stacked tighter together on your wheel .
