Im 6'5 and when i started a car free lifestyle just about 18 months ago, i was nearly 300 lbs, 289 to be exact.

I had been chubby my whole life, and briefly slimmed down in my early 20's but i ballooned right back up by 24. I felt uncomfortable all the time and just overall unhappy. My weight and mental status are what drove me to stop driving. I felt like if i walked everywhere instead of drove it would help.
A buddy gave me his old bike when he heard my goals, telling me "Walking is slow, give this a spin"

Completely changed my life. I have been biking everywhere since that day, never even missing my car.

Now, 18 months later, i weight 185 and am working on building more muscle mass.

For those of you reading this trying to loose that weight, Just keep at it! some weeks it feels like nothing is happening, but as long as you stay consistent it will continue to melt off. I believe in you!
