The Joys of being a newbie...

So I just got my first fixed gear up and running (an old peugot I got for free :-)) and i've been riding like crazy...

Last night I went for a ride and achieved my first skids and skips!!! That Sh*t is FUN!!! I'm sooo pumped right now and all I want to do is go riding again!!!! It's that feeling of building up your own bike, then riding it and learning new skills, that's MY high right now... which goes just great with my other high

I just wanted to share my newbie joy and give everyone to chance to reminise about their first days of riding fixed! Lessons learned... that feeling of pride when you first skidded... got your chainline straight... made an old bike your own... ok GO!

Oh and I'll try and get some pics of my bike soon but my digital camera was stolen a little bit ago
