USN is the latest, greatest hope for TV watching cycling fans, and I think they do a good job all-in-all. They've really shown quite a bit of the spring races and early tours. Admittedly there has been a lull lately, but the races you mentioned are being shown on NBC/SN, there sister station.
When was the last time you saw 3 consecutive hours of a bike race on USN? Cycling is one of the most watched sports in the world. 3 hours of Curling? What a snooze fest. I understand why they show so much soccer, not my thing but it is a heavily watched sport. NBC tends to show cycling at crazy hours and I don't pay extra for DVR to Directv but I do have to pay an extra $15 per month for the small package that includes USN. I'll argue that Curling is not even a sport but that's another debate. What's next, horse shoe tossing, tiddly winks, marbles?
