What pads? How long? What conditions?
For Me where I live I Use Kool Stop Pads on my aluminum rim Bikes , Salmon red compound, because it Rains Here .
As to How long , the Dura Ace style pad holders each have a set screw,
so it only takes maybe 2 minutes per pad to remove that screw slip in a New Pad ..
Perhaps a bit longer if i Drop the little screw and have to find it on the floor.
