One thing that comes to mind is what does it weigh? When you buy a bike in this price range it often has virtually useless suspension that adds weight to what you have to pedal. You are much better off looking for a similarly priced bike with NO suspension so the manufacturer can put a little more money into better components for the drive train and maybe lighter wheels.
