I work in a large hospital and there is a set of bike racks, out of sight, where thieves have free reign. One of my co-workers had two bicycles stolen. Now he rides a beater, a serious beater with lots of rust. I am luckier, I have an office and I keep my bike there. I think a got away with keeping it there because I didn't ask for permission. I am in year number two for commuting and nobody has complained. You think the hospital management would like to promote a healthy life style.
