I had used MMR since I started riding, two months ago. After seeing most serious riders used Strava I gave it a side by side comparison over the long holiday weekend. By Monday I was convinced and didn't start the MMR for Mondays ride. I found a couple guys I haven't seen since HS and a couple others that I didn't know rode, none were using MMR. As I get better/faster I'm sure I'll get into some group riding and by watching what those guys are riding I'll better know when I'm ready. As far as what the app did, MMR met all my needs but the social aspects of Strava was the selling point for me.
