I appreciate the encouragement! I thought I would post a picture of my bicycle. It survived for the most part. A few hairline cracks in the frame, but still rideable. I had to build new wheels, I laced up some nice Mavic rims to the original hubs. I have been told the bike is a Benotto by a fellow at Edmonton Bicycle Commuters Society because it has a heart shaped cut-out on the bottom of the bottom bracket.
