This is the bell I have also, and I'm happy with it.

I think of a bike bell as more of a musical instrument than, say for example, the horn on my car. If anyone here is into musical instruments you know the impulse to spend whatever amount of money to get something that produces just the right sound....

.....then again I'm the kind of person who daydreams about making doorbells out of cowbells or "found objects"..... if I thought I could get away with it I'd strap some bars from a marimba onto the handlebars or my bike, or make "hubs" out of a couple of crash cymbal that I could somehow operate with a hand-brake lever or something..... So take my POV with a grain of salt.
