I didn't install the bb. It was already installed when I bought the bike so I guess the original owner did not install the BB correctly. I bought the bike from a friend who rode it once and decided to sell it because it was too big for him... he never touched the BB either. I'm just really upset that this even happened. I installed the new one correctly... I know that much so I shouldn't really be worried now that there's a little creaking. My question is... is my frame effed because this guy was a moron? or if this BB ends up coming out because of the nearly stripped threads is there anything I can do to keep the frame working?
