Onlookers gathered around the car so the man couldn’t drive off. Police laid charges after looking at video of the incident and talking to witnesses.
Initially they said they weren’t laying charges because the cyclist didn’t want them. On Thursday, however they said the cyclist did want to pursue charges.
Police charged Patrice Lepage, 47, of Gatineau with assault, dangerous driving and mischief under $5,000.
I won't get into how much I'm not surprised that he's from North of the river.
