The following facilities will reopen to the public on Monday:

• Limekiln State Park
• Sand Dollar Beach
• Mill Creek Day Use Area
• Willow Creek Day Use Area
• Plaskett Creek Campground
• Kirk Creek Campground

Sections of the above parks and campgrounds may still be under construction and accessibility may be limited.

Andrew Molera, Pfeiffer, Julia Pfeiffer Burns state parks remain closed indefinitely.
Botcher's Gap and Pfeiffer Beach are also closed to the public.

Those hoping to reach Big Sur by way of Highway 1 will have to reroute before hitting the Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge. Motorists are advised to take State Route 1 from Carmel to south of Palo Colorado in Monterey County and north from Cambria to Ragged Point in San Luis Obispo.
