I get a call from a friend of a friend, you know how that goes, and he heard I worked on bikes and wanted to know if I could find him a Stingray bike because his Dad had one as a child and now that he had swapped coasts, Boston to Los Angeles, he wanted to live his dear old Dad's shadow. The Stingray's were 20 inch wheeled and not so great for an adult plus original ones are big money now. I suggested we get a used beach cruiser and I had the connections to score an big size banana seat, sissy bar, and mini ape hangers. He opted for a new 26" cruiser in gloss black and it turned pretty sweet. He sent a pic to his Dad and now Dad can't wait to visit so he can ride it.
