I use knockoff loosely, they may well have been something like factory seconds or unauthorized production. I tried to find a couple examples, but it looks like eBay cleaned up their China sellers quite well, the only thing I can find now are obvious scams (i.e., full Ultegra for $22 type listings), or those prices right near the British companies. Granted, the latter may well have just been the sellers deciding that they could get more.

Something along the lines of this, though: New Shimano Ultegra HOLLOWTECH II 2x11-speed R8000 8000 Road Components Groupset | eBay
