I don't understand why they are finally going to release a Brompton alternative...and it's priced higher than the basic Brompton? The game-changer would have been to provide a robust alternative at a lower price. Or charge the higher price but with a much lighter weight bike. Instead, the Curl weighs about the same and cost a little bit more. The technology for the Curl may come to the fore and really be worth it--but as an initial impression, nothing about it screams it's so much better/better value than the Brompton. It's unfair but I think that is what is needed if they want to muscle into Brompton territory.
