Hmm, lets see, I haven't had a crappy ride since I nearly broke my ankle delivering newspapers (big hill, was going 30+ at the bottom and a car bumper caught myrear rack and I went shooting off the front of my bike like Dark Helmet did in Spaceballs when the ship stopped suddenly). I have had Crappy parts of rides. On January second I had a ride take a crappy turn as I started to flat a lot in the heavy rain on a solo double century fromt the late afternoon until Midnight. I had 14 flats in all and had to pump up my tire many more times than that. Rain is not bad, flats in themselves are not bad, mud is not bad. Changing 10+ flats in the rain and mud is crappy. There were good zenlike moments between some of those flats so I can't call the ride crappy though. It was my first double century. Great to have an epic ride on the first go round huh?
