As for the final stage of the Vuelta: how about Froome battling for the green jersey?? What's probably annoying to QuickStep about that is they can't really push the Red Jersey aside, since whoever has it on is made of glass and must be respected. Still, I enjoyed the battle (which Froome won by joining in the field sprint for 11th).
Also, since when does a Red/Yellow/Pink jersey wearer risk losing everything by going argy-bargy with the sprinters in the final stage? Since never, I believe. Give Froome some credit for that one.
Agreed re: Powless. Seems Cannondale is where you go if you're on your way out of racing or just not quite good enough to land elsewhere.
On Froome, eh ... I guess it's fair game. Curious if he'd be as well received mixing into sprints at the Tour with the big big sprinters.
