There are some people who just completely lose it when they see a bike on the street. A buddy and I had one driver go completely nuts because we were riding side by side completely within a wide bike lane (which is explicitly permitted in the city of Irvine BTW). We did not cause him to have to slow down, change lanes or alter his drive in any way. Just our mere presence was enough.

For as many miles as you ride sounds like your nutcase-to-mile ratio is still pretty good. Good call to keep moving fast.
