Well earlier I was thinking that it was the only way to get a longer stem, and I was going on the word of my lbs that finding components to fit would be really diffcult, but having looked a bit harder today I may stay with the quill style stem and just replace it, but I will still need to know what size? Also now I am looking at forks which seem to be even more confusing.
