I hope you received that call, but I wish you where around where I live. I am a lone wolf im my parts as far as road rides go and I do know what it feels like to always be going out by yourself.
On night rides. I have gotten a light for commuting and have discovered riding at night! WOW what a rush! I look for excuses to ride at night now just so I can enjoy the stars and quiet. I live in a rural area so you do have to look out for critters that roam at night but so far almost hitting an opossum is the only close call. I have a light and motion solo logic that I run on 6W most of the time. If I am going fast or in an area that has no ambiant light I run the light higher up to 15W and it works great!
