I've got a Polar 720i, and I think it would work, but the polling inerval has a minimum of 5 seconds. Would it even get a reading.
Do some telemetry. Measure a distance back and then sight it to get an angle. Can then calculate the hight pretty cloesly (at least for basic backyard fun).
