Geeze...

Headwinds were so strong today I had to turn the bike around and pedal backwards. 15-20 mph headwinds dominated my twenty one mile ride today.

That said, I noticed something I can't back up with any stats that gave me a smile. I hammered up a couple of pretty steep block-long urban hills with far greater ease than I can recall (and no, not with a tailwind). When did I get better at that?

Also, I'm thirteen miles shy of my monthly mileage target already, and I'm on a pace to do 4,500 miles this year. Not saying I'm going to do that, but I like how my year is starting out.
