steer tube too short... suggestions?

howdy.

my intentions were to sub my Marzocchi Bomber 22 Atom Bomb suspension Fork to my Single Speed Cannondale--former Headshok, adapted with cane creek head set, but with the new head set--the steer tube is too short. i am screwed? or is there a way to change the steer tube for a longer one? or can i simply put a new crown/steer tube combo on the fork? --if so, where in the world do i find one of these for an older model fork?

thanks for any and all feed back...
