Lemond Poprad Disc - Friday's fender fastening (lots-o-photos)

Commutophiles,

Attached are the fruits of this last Friday's projects - fenders and new pedals for my new Poprad Disc. The fenders are Planet Bike and the pedals are the stainless steel Egg Beaters.

The fenders were easy but time consuming to put on. The fender support bails in front and back required a little trimming, and it took some time to get the fenders lined up with the wheels. Nothing hard, just took lots of little tweeks until I was satisfied. The fenders actually look pretty good on the bike. They kind'a blend in with the tires, and when you do notice them the shiny black looks good with the orange frame. Sort'a like the Great Pumpkin at Halloween. IMHO, the fenders make the bike look a lot more capable.

The Egg Beaters just screwed onto the cranks. The Egg Beaters are great! First time I have every used them. They make it very easy for me to clip in and out.

On to the photos:
