In Minneapolis proper, Linden Hills, Tangle Town, and Regina neighborhoods (all south or southwest of downtown and about 5 miles away from downtown) are a little hilly. As the previous writer says, these hills are very avoidable once you know the routes. I think Minneapolis is turning into a pretty good Bike commuting place. I like how Minneapolis does the snow removal better than St. Paul (not Car parking -wise) but for bike commuting.
