Well I had the transesophageal echocardiogram this past Tuesday. Real fun. NOT!! I have been waiting to hear from my cardiologist. He's suppose to call on Monday. So they let me leave the hospital and he hasn't called right away. So I'm hoping that's a good sign.
As for having any signs that something may be wrong, I've never had any. I'm 41 and have always been athletic all my life. I ride 3,000 to 5,000 miles a year on average, play and coach soccer and usually don't sit still for too long. So I guess this came as a bit of a shock that the murmur was more than just your average murmur.
Anyway, thanks for the posts. I will posts my results once I talk to the doctor.
Have a great weekend!!
