The XTR's I have are not much if any lighter than the BB7 setup, The Avid ultimate V's have the sealed bearings like the XTR's but save considerable weight by not having all the extra moving parts that the XTR's have. I love the XTR V's, but weight between them and BB7's can't be that much. Wonder if someone has a gram scale that can check it out for us?
