I'm going to suggest something that's obvious, but maybe not to a new rider. Make sure that your boys are lifted and held high and out of the way of the saddle. That's one of the benefits of bibs: lots of lift. Placement of the tender parts is the last thing I check when heading out the door to ride.

No body parts should come in contact with the saddle, except for your sit bones and perineum. And sparingly on the perineum.
